Explore the townscape of Okitsu, once a thriving winter retreat, and enjoy Seikenji Temple, which has played a historically significant role, as you make your way to Satta Pass, famous for its depiction in ukiyo-e art.
This route connects Okitsu-juku and Yui-juku, two post towns on the “Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido.” It is one of the few routes where the streetscape of the Edo period remains intact, allowing visitors to experience the atmosphere of that time.

Seiken Temple
The temple is said to have been founded in the latter half of the 7th century, and it still preserves the "Tenarainoma" (studying or practicing Room) where young "Shogun Ieyasu" diligently studied during his childhood.
Old Tokaido Trail
Along the way, there are trails where you can enjoy Japan's representative natural scenery.
Satta Pass
From this point, on a clear day, you can see the majestic view of Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay that has greatly impressed almost all travelers since the Edo period.
Koike residence
A traditional Japanese house that has been home to generations of village headmen since the Edo period preserves a nostalgic atmosphere of bygone days.

- We will have a support car available throughout this tour, which you can access our support car at certain points. You can also get in the car if you feel unwell or are in poor condition.
- We will serve you light food and drink (water or Japanese green tea) to help maintain better your running condition.
- You can leave your bags in our support car. However, you will need to manage your valuable items by yourself.
- During the tour, please follow the instructions of the guide.
- Be mindful not to enter private property or take photos of residents or private homes without permission.
